Refund and Money-Back Guarantee Policy

Dissertation Helpers is committed to operational transparency, quality fulfillment, and customer satisfaction. While refund policies are often unclear across online academic consultancy services, we prioritise client confidence by providing an unambiguous Money-Back Guarantee.

Clients are entitled to request and receive financial compensation under the terms, conditions, and timelines outlined below. Every claim is independently assessed by our Dispute Resolution Department and processed within 4 to 6 business days.

1. Voluntary Order Cancellation

• 1.1 Pre-Allocation Cancellation: If you submit a formal cancellation request prior to an academic Specialist being designated to your project (verified via your account dashboard status), you will receive a 100% full reimbursement.

• 1.2 Mid-Project Cancellation (First Half of Timeline): If a Specialist has accepted the brief and commenced preliminary research, but 50% or less of the originally booked timeline has elapsed, you are eligible for a 70% refund. The retained 30% acts as fair compensation for the Specialist’s initial labour and time reservation.

• 1.3 Mid-Project Cancellation (Second Half of Timeline): If cancellation is requested after more than 50% of the project timeline has passed, reimbursement is capped at up to 50%, strictly proportional to the verified volume of drafting completed up to that hour.

• 1.4 Post-Delivery Restriction: Cancellation refunds are ineligible once the final draft has been completed and delivered. Once delivery occurs, financial claims can only be reviewed under our quality remediation policies via customer support.

2. Duplicate Transactions and Multiple Orders

• 2.1 Double Charges for a Single Order: If a technical error, browser lag, or payment gateway glitch leads to multiple charges or charges exceeding your confirmed price quote, provide copies of all duplicate transaction receipts to our support team. Redundant charges will be refunded in full immediately upon verification.

• 2.2 Redundant or Identical Orders: If you accidentally submit two identical orders, notify customer care immediately. You are responsible for identifying and requesting cancellation of duplicated briefs before a second Specialist is engaged. Once a Specialist is assigned, standard cancellation provisions (Section 1) apply.

3. Unallocated Projects and Specialist Availability

• 3.1 Inability to Match a Specialist: While our team includes researchers across numerous disciplines, rare subject niches or extreme deadline constraints may prevent us from securing an appropriate expert. If we cannot assign a qualified Specialist, we will notify you, grant an immediate 100% full refund, and issue an administrative discount voucher toward your next project.

• 3.2 Reassignment Unavailability During Review: If an order requires editorial revision by an alternative Specialist, but no qualified substitute is available within our network, our Dispute Resolution team will assess the claim and issue an appropriate partial or total reimbursement.

4. Delivery Deadlines and Lateness Remedies

• 4.1 Client-Induced Delays: Lateness remedies do not apply if delivery delays arise from late source uploads, incomplete instructions, or missing secondary files on your part. All instructional materials must be supplied at checkout.

• 4.2 Price Recalculation for Standard Orders: If an initial draft exceeds its scheduled turnaround due to operational delays on our end, your project will be retroactively repriced to match the actual delivery timeframe bracket (e.g., an 8-hour order completed at the 24-hour mark will be rebilled at standard 24-hour rates, and the difference refunded to you).

• 4.3 Long-Term Project Delays: For long-term projects with delivery windows of 11 to 14 days (or longer), unapproved operational delays entitle the client to a direct 7% compensation refund upon request.

• 4.4 Critical Deadline Breach: If the first draft misses the final contractual deadline entirely and you refuse the overdue draft because it is no longer usable, you qualify for a 100% full refund alongside a discount voucher for future engagements.

• 4.5 Revision Deadlines: Lateness claims and price recalculations do not apply to subsequent revisions, as revision timetables depend on the complexity of requested edits. Clients are advised to commission work with a deadline that leaves at least a 30% scheduling buffer before their final submission deadline.

5. Add-On Services and Feature Upgrades

• 5.1 Progressive Delivery Milestones:

  • For projects utilising our milestone-based Progressive Delivery model, individual review and revision periods are valid for up to 21 calendar days following the delivery of each section.

  • Clicking "Approve Part" confirms formal acceptance of that milestone and directs the Specialist to draft the subsequent section. Once approved, previous sections become non-refundable. Financial disputes apply only to the active, unapproved section under review.

  • The supplementary 10% Progressive Delivery service fee is strictly non-refundable.

• 5.2 Specialist Portfolio Samples: The standard $5.00 administrative charge for reviewing historical writing samples is non-refundable. Clients must review these excerpts within their notification window; failure to request an alternative Specialist within this timeframe constitutes acceptance of the assigned writer.

• 5.3 Dedicated Editor Add-On: If you purchased our secondary editorial review tier (30% surcharge) and find the editorial pass deficient, you may file a dedicated partial refund claim specifically for that feature via the "Refund" portal on your dashboard.

• 5.4 Premium Specialist Surcharges (Advanced / ENL): If you pay a premium tier fee for an Advanced or English-as-a-Native-Language (ENL) expert, and we must downgrade the project to our Best Available category due to scheduling constraints, the entire premium fee difference will be refunded automatically.
